Ristorante Toto in Brandenburg City

First the positive, the Toto restaurant is located directly on the Havel and offers a wonderful view of the boats and passenger ships. You sit comfortably on the shady balcony and enjoy the friendly service. We ordered the pizza toto and spaghetti aglio e olio with pepperoni. The pizza was optically and tastefully okay. The pasta dish, on the other hand, was under all cannon. Instead of the spaghetti I ordered, I had linguini on my plate and neither did chilli pepper. The waitress kept trying to smile at my criticism. No, that's not how it works. An apology and the offer of a repair should be offered. The cook once sold out, I heard when I was paying the bill. No regrets, no Ameretto on the house, you were just out of luck. Unfortunately, it didn't taste good either, because the garlic was very tight and was not allowed to develop its aroma and the spiciness was also missing. You should urgently think about a new chef here, maybe one who really enjoys cooking and who is able to bring the right pasta to the plate with all the ingredients on the menu. Toto - better not. There is also a restaurant opposite, so maybe you can eat better there. Conclusion: worst Italian ever!

We love this restaurant! They offer great Italian food from basic pizza and pasta up to more sophisticated meals for reasonable prices. They have a friendly and attentive team. And of course the location is brilliant. Sitting on the huge balcony, overlooking the river Havel and watching people strolling over the Millennium Bridge makes every visit a wonderful and special moment. Delicately five stars!

The extremely large number of spelling errors on various, laminated, loose sheets of paper as a "menu" should have warned us ... the food is prepared carelessly and therefore extremely expensive. For the prices you could soon eat in Munich. The pizza was dry and sloppy. You could go looking for nuts in the salt with walnuts ... The plates are snatched from the guest as soon as the last bite is on the fork, for each guest individually, even if it is only half full. I don't even talk about the many other little things. Overall, a clear anti-recommendation!

Miserable kitchen. Excellent location. New management would be ideal. Someone who can offer potatoes with cottage cheese or lost eggs or potato soup. Good kitchen opposite in the "shipyard".

A brief description of the restaurant stay: After standing in front of closed doors at 2 other restaurants, we decided on the Toto restaurant, even though it looked quite crowded from below. Once at the top, we had to wait over 10 minutes until we were assigned a place inside in the corner. It was a bit shabby inside, but it's ok. Then we had to wait a long time for the simple menus with an unbelievable number of spelling errors. First of all, we cut a bit about the prices. After we ordered drinks we waited again for over 10 minutes. Bread was brought to us, but it was served very carelessly. After another half an hour of waiting, the food finally came. My Bolognese was partly cold and not flavorful. The food of the others was delicious (meat dishes). Conclusion: To get a seat outside, definitely reserve in advance. Inside you are served at a disadvantage. The food is only partially cheap.

We actually wanted to eat here because you can sit outside on the terrace and have a nice view of the Havel. But after the menu (a few A4 pages stapled together) was put on the table, we decided not to eat here. Firstly, there was nothing we liked and secondly, the notes looked very worn out. The service was friendly.

Unfortunately, we were repeatedly disappointed. Especially from the service. Although the restaurant was not overcrowded, we had to wait a long time. There was no bread or olives as a little treat. There was also no in-between question whether we wanted to have a drink. The food was good, but cold and fairly clear for the price. We won't be back.

Wanted to eat something here were treated very bluntly. We kindly asked if they had responded very curtly someone hadn't heard and asked again were just ignored. Pity

Food okay for the price. Only if you order well and get almost bloody, well. It was a bit long to be served and was partly quite cool.

The restaurant is really worth a visit. The service is super friendly and courteous. The food is definitely fresh and tasty. All dishes that were allowed to try here were consistently great. The view of the Havel rounds off the overall picture and makes a visit to the restaurant a special experience.

Lovely place who put their own little twist on authentic Italian dishes. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Pizza was amazing and the salad too. Highly recommended if you fancy Italian cuisine.

Very nice restaurant with a great view of the water. The ambience is really nice. The service is extremely friendly and the food, which in my case was tortellini, was really delicious. We recommend.

Very good Italian cuisine. The pasta are not home made. However my dish was really good. Friendly service.

An ok Italian restaurant. The service is quite ok though I would have expected more for the price tag. Main dishes start at 15€. Fish from 20€. They did not serve us olive oil for the bread starter and did not suggest any digestif as we finished. If the weather is nice, the terrace should be really terrific with the view over the river.
